What is epilepsy?

Epilepsy is a brain disorder that causes seizures. The cells of the brain use electric signals to communicate. A seizure might be described as wrong electrical signal sent. It leads to abnormal movements or sensations, as the nerves also not function correctly. A seizure can last for seconds or minutes and results in violent convulsions of the body and loss of consciousness (in the worst case).

We strongly recommend you to see a doctor and not attempt to treat epilepsy. Some herbs might be useful to alleviate symptoms, but this does not replace medical advice for such disease.

We take the opportunity to let you know more about the herbs that you should NOT be using.
